The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, March 7 features Rey on the stand, Phyllis questioning Summer and Kyle’s quickie engagement, and Kerry’s a counter-offer for Jack.
Who Do You Love?
Brittany (Lauren Woodland) got Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) on the stand and forced him to admit that he told Sharon (Sharon Case) he loved her before she confessed to be a part of covering up JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder.
Brittany suggested he manipulated her while Rey denied – and Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) sat fuming.
Mia wanted to fight with Rey about it, but Christine (Lauralee Bell) dragged him to the station for a first shot. Later, Mia excoriated Rey for telling the world he’s in love with another woman.
Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc), on the other hand, changed his mind and decided to put Victoria (Amelia Heinle) on the stand — he was going to play the domestic violence card.
What’s the Rush
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was suspicious of Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle (Michael Maelor) suddenly being so eager to tie the knot, and wanted to hear it in Kyle’s own words.
He spun a tale of finally realizing what he wanted. With Summer out of earshot, Phyllis warned him that her daughter was a lot more vulnerable than she appeared.
At the hospital, Kyle swore to Lola that he would do anything to make sure she got well. He said he finally understood what real love was.
Let’s Make a Deal
Kerry (Alice Hunter) was first incensed that Jack (Peter Bergman) wanted her to spy on Phyllis and help him reclaim Jabot. But then she said, if this were to happen, she’d need some assurances. And she wasn’t stupid. She wanted them in writing.
