The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, August 23 features Michael assuring Lauren he can handle both Adam and Victor, Sharon and Chelsea finding they have a lot in common, and Arturo taking off again.
Man In Charge
Victor (Eric Braeden) had questions about how Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) intended to be the sort of DA who makes the Newmans happy. If he’s not — there’s a threat in it for him.
Lauren (Tracey Bregman) was concerned, but Michael assured her he has a plan for handling Victor and Adam (Mark Grossman) both.
At the end of the day, Michael was greeted by a punch in the face from Kevin (Greg Rikaart), due to Michael having Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) arrested! But, don’t worry, fans, Michael has a plan….
Sisters In Crime
Adam and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) argued about seeing Nick (Joshua Morrow) embrace Sharon (Sharon Case), and Chelsea made the observation that it’s always all about Adam. Excuse us — is she new here? When has it ever not been all about Adam?
Later, Chelsea and Sharon sniped about the men in their lives — not to mention the crimes both have committed. They realized they’re kind of twisted sisters, and Chelsea advised that Sharon has deeper feelings for Adam than she’s willing to admit.
End Of the Road
It seemed like Arutro (Jason Canela) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) made up at Lola’s (Sasha Calle) wedding, but now they made up again, this time with Celeste (Eva LaRue) as a witness. Arturo left town yet again, and fans continue to wonder what the point of bringing him on, then writing him off was.
Happy Days
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) looked at photos and discussed how wonderful they are together. Probably because Kyle and Lola weren’t there to fulfill that role. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
