The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, September 5 features Mariah playing hero for Tessa, even as Devon questioned Tessa’s agenda.
Plus, Kyle tried to do the same for Phyllis, Summer, and Dina, and Lily tries to adjust to prison (where they let her keep her manicure), while her family floundered.
Missing Mama
Dina (Marla Adams) was about to watch a movie with Kyle (Michael Mealor) when Summer (Hunter King) came storming in to yell at Phyllis (Gina Tognoni).
Dina got a kick out of them calling each other names and tried to figure out which one is the more terrible person, not to mention who is the better woman for Billy (Jason Thompson)… until she didn’t, and started to cry.
Kyle hustled Summer out, and Phyllis told Dina to wait outside for her while Phyllis made a call. When Phyllis turned around, Dina was gone.
Phyllis freaked, but then Kyle returned, explained he put a tracker in Dina’s purse, and found her in the den. So… crisis averted.
Coffee Talk
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) was overwhelmed serving coffee at Sharon’s (Sharon Case), so Mariah (Camryn Grimes) stepped in to help. She also offered to help with the $20,000 Tessa needs in order to resettle Crystal. But Tessa said no way. Not even if Mariah begs.
Slammer Time
Lily (Christel Khalil) sobbed through her first day in prison, as Cane (Daniel Goddard) and the kids picked at their back-to-school breakfasts at home. Charlie (Noah Alexander Garry) cut school, and all were bummed that Lily can’t have visitors for 48 hours.
Nate (Brooks Darnell) continued offering unsolicited advice when he urged Devon (Bryton James) to visit his sister, and Devon later returned the favor, telling Mariah that he was suspicious of Tessa’s motives after she tried to hit him up for money. Tessa has burned all her bridges where Devon is concerned.
