The Young and the Restless Recap: The Kyle/Summer Wedding Stuns Everyone!

The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, March 11 features news of Kyle and Summer’s engagement spreading through Genoa City, confusing and angering many. Plus, Tessa was arrested, and Kerry revealed a secret agenda!

Surprise Wedding
Jack (Peter Bergman) couldn’t believe it when Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) filled him in on Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) upcoming nuptials.

Kyle insisted he’s in love. Jack gave his blessing and told Summer she always felt like family. (Is he thinking about the time period when she was believed to be his daughter? Nah, that would be…too eww.)

Arturo (Jason Canela) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) couldn’t believe it either. And, although they hated Kyle and didn’t want to see him with Lola (Sasha Calle), now they were furious that he’s dumping her. Make up your minds, guys!

Rey also filled in Arturo about him declaring his love for Sharon (Sharon Case) on the stand. Arturo suspected Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) was not pleased.

Later, Summer admitted to Kyle how scared she is about the surgery and told Kyle she wants to get married right away. Uhm…OK, says Kyle.

Under Arrest
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) remained confused about why she keeps getting arrested merely for committing major crimes. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) reassured her and paid her bail.

Playing Both Ends Against the Middle
Kerry (Alice Hunter) pledged her support to Phyllis… and again to Jack, as long as his promises were in writing. Billy (Jason Thompson) was suspicious and warned Jack that, no matter what he signed for Kerry, he shouldn’t give her a seat on the board.

Kerry secretly texted her accomplice that she has Jack and Phyllis right what she wants them. And who can this mystery person be? Could it be… Ashley?

Eileen Davidson is scheduled to make a brief return. Hmmm…
