The Young and the Restless Recap: Kyle’s Secret Comes To His Wedding

The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, August 19 features several uninvited guests at Kyle and Lola’s wedding. Theo arrived…and he was not alone. Lola came face to face with her long-lost dad. And, Billy stomped out… and learned something interesting.

Is That All There Is?
Theo (Tyler Johnson) crashed Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola’s (Sasha Calle) wedding, and he brought a guest, Zoe (Anna Grace Barlow), the young woman who got drunk at Kyle and Theo’s party, and is only alive today because they got her to a hospital. The scandal!

Zoe says she’s perfectly fine now. Wow.. that was a plot twist. So Kyle’s big secret is that he saved a young woman from dying of alcohol poisoning. The monster!

Kyle threw Theo out, but Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) overheard and wanted all the gory details. Will she be disappointed to learn just how not gory they actually are?

Oh, My Papa
Adrian refused to leave until Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), Celeste (Eva LaRue), and a visiting Arturo (Jason Canela) told Lola that he’s there. They didn’t want to, but Lola saw him anyway. Adrian made a moving speech about fathers, daughters, mistakes, forgiveness, and had he mentioned how beautiful his baby girl looks?

Yeah, Lola wasn’t buying it. She returned to Kyle and they finished their wedding with the guests blowing bubbles.

Do You Hear What I Hear?
First, Billy (Jason Thompson) barked at Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) about their decision to merge their two companies. He stomped off as Victoria (Amelia Heile) apologized for him.

Billy went to Crimson Lights, where he overheard Adam (Mark Grossman) and Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) plotting together. Billy confronted Michael, who wouldn’t tell him anything.

Billy returned home where Victoria said Michael was running for DA. Billy was intrigued. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
