The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, August 22 features a guilt trip for Sharon, a bad break for Summer, and crappy luck for Ashley.
Takes One To Know One
Lily (Christel Khalil) had a nightmare and turns to Sharon (Sharon Case), who is studying psychology.
Lily kept talking about her guilt when it comes to Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Devon (Bryton James), and Sharon told her it’s not her fault. It was an accident, she’s already suffering plenty, and jail would be pointless.
Sharon couldn’t possibly be talking about someone else who committed a crime that’s really an accident, and she’s totally suffering, so what would be the point of jail… could she?
Nick (Joshua Morrow) refused to do as Jack (Peter Bergman) asked and cancel Billy’s (Jason Thompson) Jaboutique leases. He’d rather hold onto them for long-term leverage.
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) realized they need to go back to their plan of getting the board to vote Billy out. Ashley planned to vote Traci (Beth Maitland) in so they can get rid of the blood Abbott clause. But, they first need to make Billy look bad.
The Truth Will Set You Free
Summer (Hunter King) assured Kyle she’s going to win their bet and was about to fly off to Philadelphia so she can jump into Billy’s bed.
She told Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) that she’s taking a personal day. Phyllis explained that’s not how the business world works. Then, Summer expressed sads when she learned Phyllis and Billy are planning to move out, so Phyllis caved.
Kyle later went to Phyllis under the guise of apologizing for spilling her secret about Nick to Summer and spilled about Summer’s plans for Philadelphia.
