The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, August 2 features Victor turning to Jack for help, Adam turning to Sharon for advice, and Billy finally turning to a therapist for guidance.
Side Effects
Victor (Eric Braeden) urged Adam (Mark Grossman) to make peace with Nick. He was rebuffed. Victor visited Summer (Hunter King) at Jabot to tell her about his illness, then traded barbs with Jack (Peter Bergman), snarking about how small Jack’s office is. (It’s not the size but how you use it, Victor.)
However, when Victor suffered an episode in the parking garage and couldn’t get in touch with Nate (Sean Dominic), he reached out to Jack for help. Jack brought Victor back to the office and called Nate, who diagnosed Victor with low blood pressure. Victor announced that he always wins, and he’ll win over his disease, too.
Summer and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) made up when she learned what Phyllis did for Nick. Phyllis was very happy.
Behave Yourself
Sharon (Sharon Case) agreed with Adam that Christian should learn about his paternity eventually but now is not the time. Adam should develop a relationship with Christian, first.
Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) visited with Christian in the park. Adam caught them and accuses Victoria (Amelia Heinle) of preferential treatment.
Nick told Adam he’s take everything away from him, including Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor. Adam was happy to see his bro jumping on the ruthless train.
Speak Up
Billy (Jason Thompson) finally went to see a therapist, who got him talking about how much Billy hates Adam — and himself. She urges Billy to hold onto those who love him, and to let go of the guilt — it’s what Delia would have wanted.
Billy then came home to find Delia’s doll in his bed. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
