The Young and the Restless Recap: Jack Explodes at Dina!

The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, April 17 features Jack finally spilling how he’s felt about Dina’s abandonment, Summer confronting Phyllis — and Phyllis going after Billy. Plus, Cane refused to give up and Mariah got a warning.

Mommy Issues
After Dina (Marla Adams) told Jack (Peter Bergman) he’s destroying his father’s legacy with Jabot’s new lifestyle brand, Jack snapped that she never gave a damn about John. The two argued before Dina conveniently drifted off again.

Traci (Beth Maitland) confronted Jack about it, and he vented his rage about having been abandoned by his Mommy — who now doesn’t even remember doing it.

Later, Jack got a visit from a young Dina. He yelled at her, too, and demanded, “Why?” Imaginary Dina didn’t tell Jack anything he doesn’t already knew and left Jack with the question of how much he wants to sacrifice for John’s dream.

Summer (Hunter King) yelled at Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) for trying to ruin her marriage, then cried it’s because Summer slept with Billy (Jason Thompson). She begged Phyllis not to break up her and Kyle (Michael Mealor). Summer wuvs him!

As Billy was in the process of proposing to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) — again — after a family dinner with the kids, Phyllis came pounding on the door.

Never Surrender
Cane (Daniel Goddard) told the twins he planned to win Lily (Christel Khalil) back. Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) was furious and stomped off. Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) told his dad he’s living in denial. Where’s Sam?

Rock Solid
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) was in the middle of reminding Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) how wonderful she was when a rock came through the window, accusing Mariah of spreading gossip. Oh, yeah, is GC Buzz still a thing?
