The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, April 2 features Ashley and Jack only able to find common ground over one thing.
Plus, Lauren looked for a way to get out of her commitment to Jabot — and turning to an unfriendly source, Phyllis warned Summer that Kyle can’t be trusted, and Lola forged full steam ahead.
This Means War
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) learned from Abby (Melissa Ordway) that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) had been voted out — and Jack (Peter Bergman) voted in — as CEO of Jabot. Ashley vowed to run her family company, no matter what.
Jack arrived and informed Ashley that Jabot would be declining her offer to buy them. The pair bickered about who was the worst and who John would have disapproved of more. Brother and sister then declared war on each other — via cosmetics!
Lauren (Tracey Bregman) fretted that a sinking Jabot would take Fennore’s down with them. She asked Jack to buy her company back. Jack asked if she has the money. Lauren admitted she doesn’t. But you know who does have money? Phyllis! (Or so she claimed.)
Also, Lauren fretted about Fen and told Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) that he isn’t being supportive enough of their son. Michael made fatherly noises.
Love ’em and Liver
Phyllis was furious to learn she’s the last one to find out about Summer (Hunter King) being Lola’s (Sasha Calle) liver donor.
She decided Kyle (Michael Mealor) manipulated her daughter and warned Summer that no Abbott — and especially that one – could be trusted.
Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) worried that Lola was pushing herself to open the restaurant. Lola said she’s fine, but then made an owie face.
Ana (Lorna Lott) sang for her dad, so no one can say she never sang for her father. Devon comes home to find Elena (Brytni Sharp) drinking from Hilary’s mug! Tune in tomorrow for the mug drama!
