The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, September 7 features Jack embarking on yet another wild goose chase he’s convinced will pan out this time, Phyllis sending Billy mixed messages about his gambling, and Lily confessing that prison isn’t a spa day.
This Time, I’ve Got It!
Abby (Melissa Ordway) was happy to see Jack (Peter Bergman) has moved back into the mansion, and they caught up, with Abby telling him about Arturo (Jason Canela) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso).
Talk turned to Dina (Marla Adams), and Jack came up with a new plan to find his biological dad.
So, remember the photo they found earlier, the one where Dina identified Phillip as Jack’s father, and he was convinced it was true, and the whole thing turned out to be a bust?
Well, now Jack is convinced that it’s one of the other men in the picture. See how they’re all looking adoringly at Dina? Obviously, when Phillip turned her down, she slept with one of them on the rebound. Obviously. This time, his theory can’t fail.
Push-Pull
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) went to Vegas with Billy (Jason Thompson), and said that she completely supports him falling off the wagon and gambling again.
But then she told him she’ll understand if he wants to quit. Phyllis was suspicious of Sinead, but celebrated with Billy by having sex when he won. Then she looked concerned. So, that dysfunctional relationship continued to be as clear as mud.
Bad Day
Lily (Christel Khalil) put on a brave face for the kids when they visited her in jail, then confessed to Cane (Daniel Goddard) that she can’t eat or sleep, and the other prisoners are out to get the rich girl.
Cane comforted her while she cried, and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) looked worried.
