The Young and the Restless Recap: A Gun, A Bloody Shirt… And a Suspect!

The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, December 6 features Rey announcing a suspect in the JT murder case to Nikki, Victoria, and Nick, as Phyllis and Billy battled with Devon over a beauty influencer, and Phyllis came up with a plan to nab her!

The Evidence Mounts!
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) asked Nick (Joshua Morrow) if he might have set the Newman stables on fire to get back at Victor (Eric Braeden). Nick huffed and puffed that he’s the victim here and won’t be treated like a criminal.

Rey showed Nick, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) a gun that was found at the stable, along with a bloody shirt.

The gun only has Victor’s fingerprints on it, and the blood on the shirt matches JT. Looks like the Genoa City Police Department finally have themselves a prime suspect!

Now if only they could find Victor. Nikki freaked out that something has happened to him.

Self Medicating
Devon (Bryton James) told a therapist he’s dealing with things fine, though, of course, he still misses Hilary (Mishael Morgan). The doctor suggests some anti-anxiety meds, but Devon said no.

His mother was a drug addict and his adoptive dad is an alcoholic. The doctor said medication with pills is better than self-medicating with alcohol. Oh, OK, Devon said, you’ve convinced me.

Later, he suffered an anxiety attack while meeting with Rebekah about her partnering with some of his artists.

Teamwork
Earlier, Rebekah met with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Jason Thompson) about working with Jabot. Billy and Phyllis agreed to keep matters strictly professional, while Rebekah noticed Nick across the room and asked Phyllis who the cute guy was.

At home, Phyllis asked Nick to do her a teensy, weensy favor. Could he go on a date with another woman?
