The Young and the Restless Recap: Gum-Chewing Billy On The Warpath

The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, August 30 features Adam questioning everyone about who sent him his mystery text — only to find out in the most dangerous way possible. Plus, Victoria caught Billy in a lie, and Sharon and Rey were advised to reunite.

From the Peanut Gallery
Lola (Sasha Calle) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) hosted Celeste (Eva Larue) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) for dinner (despite a broken air-conditioner and fridge), where Lola urged her brother to reunite with Sharon (Sharon Case).

At the same time, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) told Sharon the same thing, even though Sharon admitted that Rey knows she slept with Adam (Mark Grossman).

Gone With the Wind
Billy (Jason Thompson) told Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that Jack (Peter Bergman) was forcing him to go on a business trip and that he’d be out of town for a few days. But when Victoria checked in with Jack, she learned there’s no trip planned. Kevin also asked Victoria about Billy, which raised her suspicions even further.

Drive Carefully
Adam accused Kevin (Greg Rikaart) of sending him a mystery text, but Kevin denied it. Kevin asked Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) if it was her, and she worried that Billy was going to do something desperate. Chloe begged Kevin to make sure Billy didn’t hurt Adam- for Delia’s sake. (Yup, no manipulation there.)

Adam questions Victoria and Mariah, too. Meanwhile, Billy took a picture of Hope’s handkerchief, which he stole from Adam’s apartment, and sent it to Adam. Adam took off for the meeting spot.

Billy chews his gum, puts on some gloves, and gets in the car. He then proceeds to run Adam down.

Chloe appeared out of nowhere and shoved Adam out of the way. Which means Billy was now at risk of striking Chloe! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
