The Young and the Restless Recap: You’ll Never Guess Who Kidnapped Phyllis!

The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, June 7 features a day of revelations, as Nick gave Adam his decision about Christian, Rey learned more about Sharon’s past, Lauren let Jack in on her secret to a happy relationship, Kyle and Lola celebrated, and Phyllis’ kidnapper revealed himself.

Adam (Mark Grossman) gave Nick (Joshua Morrow) 24 hours to decide: Will he pay back the $27 million he doesn’t have… or give up Christian?

Nick barely needed 2.4 seconds to tell Adam to stuff it. He can have Dark Horse, Christian is his son and Adam would never get him. Adam pouted.

Nick headed over to Sharon’s (Sharon Case) to berate Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) for not seeing this coming and filled Rey in on what Adam did to Sharon and Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind). Sharon confirmed and said she was very, very disappointed in Adam for hacking into Nick’s servers and blackmailing him. We’re sure Adam felt duly chastised.

Bended Knee
Kyle (Michael Mealor) asked for Rey’s blessing to marry Lola (Sasha Calle). He gave it. Abby (Melissa Ordway) promised to take Kyle shopping for the perfect ring. Their lives continued to remain sickeningly perfect.

Secret Loves
Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) had to run out to help Nick deal with the Adam buy-out, leaving Jack (Peter Bergman) to keep Lauren (Tracey Bregman) keep her company over dinner.

Lauren pushed Jack to get back out there into the dating scene, and told him the secret of her and Michael’s long-term relationship — they cherish each other. That’s helpful for a guy not currently seeing anyone.

In the Dark
A barely conscious Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was tossed into a prison cell of a room. She woke up and screamed for help. Outside the door, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) listened to her call.
