The Young and the Restless Recap: How Far Will Victor Go To Control Adam?

The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, May 17 features Victor reverting to form as he pit Adam against Nick, with Christian in the middle. Plus, Mia found out who fathered her baby, and Victoria had an answer for Billy — just not the one he wanted.

Meeting Christian
Victor (Eric Braeden) responded to Adam (Mark Grossman) complaining that he tried to force him to remember his past by taking Adam to Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) and insisting it’s time to meet Christian!

Adam and Nick were both furious at the manipulation, though Nick was less surprised. Because he doesn’t have amnesia. (That only happens whenever Victor is sick, and then suddenly all his past sins are wiped away.)

Nick reluctantly introduces Christian to Uncle Adam. Adam said it didn’t do anything, while Christian said Uncle Adam made him nervous. Nick saw multiple texts on his phone from Chelsea.

Adam told Victor he’s had enough and is leaving town. Victor warned him he’d regret it. Adam went home, packed, and walked to the door — where he is promptly shot.

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) told Billy (Jason Thompson) she wanted to be with him – but not be married. They could have a party to celebrate their reunion — but not be married. They celebrated – but didn’t get married – by retiring to a hotel room. What’s wrong with either of their houses? Aren’t the kids at school?

End Of the Road
Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) learned that Arturo (Jason Canela) fathered her baby. Mia was happy. Arturo was nervous…but happy. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) was wistful…but happy.

Rey and Sharon hit the sheets. Mia and Arturo talked baby names and make plans to move back to Miami now that she was no longer on the hook for Lola’s (Sasha Calle) attack. The end.
