The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, November 23 features multiple happy Thanksgiving tables…and multiple tables unhappy in their own way.
The Abbotts got a shock from one of their own, the Newmans faced an unwelcome visitor, and the Rosales clan squabbled. Plus, Victoria finally took matters into her own hands.
I’ll Be Home For…
Jack (Peter Bergman) told Traci (Beth Maitland), Billy (Jason Thompson), Kyle (Michael Mealor), and Abby (Melissa Ordway) that he extended a Thanksgiving dinner invitation to Ashley (Eileen Davidson), and that he hadn’t given up hope of her accepting.
Kerry (Alice Hunter) was there and Dina (Marla Adams) snapped at her, but Kerry calmed her down the same way everyone else does, by telling Dina what an amazing person she is. The family shared memories of John, and then they finally heard from Ashley.
She sent a press release touting her new cosmetics line. Jack was crushed, but Kerry assured him she’ll be ready to take on his sister – and win.
Not at Home
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) arrived at the Newman house demanding to see Victor (Eric Braeden), but Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) snapped that he was still out of town.
Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) blabbed to her family about Nick (Joshua Morrow) reuniting with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), and Nick let Billy know he and Phyllis are now living together.
Later, Victoria left Billy to watch Johnny and Katie as she dropped in on Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). “You listen, I talk,” Victoria said, channeling her inner Victor.
Newcomers
Lola (Sasha Calle) got Arturo (Jason Canela) to come to Thanksgiving by telling him Rey won’t be there. Except he was. Arturo brought Abby, who sniped with Mia (Noemi Gonzalez), as did Rey and Arturo.
Lola lamented about her holiday to Kyle, who invited her away with him for the weekend. Lola claimed she was busy.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
