The Young and the Restless Recap: Dueling Parties Lead To Exposure!

The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, September 26 features Sharon and Nick’s bachelor and bachelorette parties coming to a head, with resulting explosions. Plus, Billy and Devon took turns feeling sorry for themselves.

Party Time!
The guests at Sharon’s (Sharon Case) bachelorette party struggled to find something nice to say about the guest of honor. They paid her a lot of left-handed compliments about how much of a better person she is now, compared to who she used to be.

But things got really thorny when Sharon refusesd Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) demand that she not tell Nick (Joshua Morrow) about what really happened with JT. Sharon said she can’t go into her next marriage with any lies between them.

Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) killed the buzz at Nick’s bachelor party by bringing up how he is the saddest man in Genoa City, ever since he lost the love of his life and their child.

(Psst… Devon, Jack [Peter Bergman] lost the woman he loved – twice. And he and Nikki lost a baby boy. And Nick? He lost Sage. And Cassie. Neil lost Drucilla. So get some perspective, dude.)

Moving the Party
The men joined the women, then Billy (Jason Thompson) showed up drunk, and whined about his intervention. Summer (Hunter King) volunteered to take him home, but he called her pathetic.

Phyllis tried to help, and he knocked her into a waiter. Billy confessed his sins and blamed Jack for all of them, then stormed off.

Phyllis’s night got worse when Nick decided he needs to tell Sharon about their one-night stand. See Sharon’s reasons above.

So, while Nikki, Victoria, and Phyllis looked on in horror, Sharon and Nick approached each other from across a crowded room, each determined to tell all!
