The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, May 28 features the Abbotts facing a crisis with Dina, Nick lamenting to Nikki about Adam, and the extended Winters family preparing for Neil’s will reading.
Home Care
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) returned to Genoa City so she, Jack (Peter Bergman), Traci (Beth Maitland), and Kyle (Michael Mealor) could move Dina (Marla Adams) to a senior facility. But Dina overheard them and runs away.
Jack and Ashley went looking for her, while Traci fretted to Cane (Daniel Goddard). He supported her and fretted a bit himself.
Jack and Ashley found Dina in the park, listening to Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) sing. She convinced Dina to do what her children want. Because Tessa can do anything!
Jack helped his mother pack and the family bids her farewell, sobbing. Later, Abby (Melissa Ordway) offers Tessa the chance to sing at Society and promised she’ll OK it with Devon.
Security Blanket
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) took turns, first being furious that Adam (Mark Grossman) wanted to take Christian away from Nick (Joshua Morrow), then that Sharon (Sharon Case) had moved in with Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) — only because Nikki is concerned about Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind), of course.
Nick worried that Adam might go ahead and kidnap his boy, but then came up with an idea. He asks an unemployed Rey to arrange his security — even as Nikki warned Nick to be careful with what he says around Sharon. She’s friends with Adam!
Where There’s a Will…
Devon (Bryton James) finally agreed to have Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) will read. Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) was ready with the papers. It makes sense why Lily (Christel Khalil) would be there. But why are Cane, Ashley, and Sharon (Sharon Case) invited? What did Neil have up his sleeve?
