The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, September 4 finally features a sentence for Lily.
Here Comes the Judge!
The judge is finally ready to render a sentence in Lily’s (Christel Khalil) case, but – wait! – Devon (Bryton James) has something to say… again!
Devon did a complete 180 just like that and asks for leniency for Lily. So, the judge had to go back and think some more.
Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) wasn’t sure if this made matters better for Lily, but he assured Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) he’s not to blame for initially keeping quiet about Lily running the red light.
Devon didn’t want to be in the courtroom when the sentence was handed down and swore he’d never forgive her, but Cane (Daniel Goddard) begged him to be there for Lily.
Sharon also offered her unasked for two cents, when she told Devon about Cassie’s death, and urged him to hold onto the family he has left.
Devon returned to the courtroom where the judge sentenced Lily to a year in prison – which was a lot less than the 20 years she was facing before Devon spoke up. Lily thanked her brother and said goodbye to her family.
All Set Up
Sharon (Sharon Case) told Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) to move out. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) confessed that she has always wanted love but, thanks to her cult upbringing, never knew what it was or how to get it.
She wanted Sharon to support them. Oh, and could Sharon talk to Nick (Joshua Morrow) about getting Tessa a place to live, and could she give Tessa a job at the coffee house?
Sharon wasn’t convinced, but went ahead and did what her daughter asked. Tessa still needs $20,000, though. Will Sharon be asked to cough that up, too?
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
