The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, December 14 features Mia whining to Rey about Lola, Abby – and him, Mariah whining to Sharon, and Tessa whining to Mariah. Only Jack and Kerry managed to stay positive…and kissed
Center of Attention
Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) can’t wait to tell everyone about her new job as Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) personal stylist, but Abby (Melissa Ordway) stole her thunder by announcing that she and Devon (Bryton James) are opening a restaurant – with Lola (Sasha Calle) as the star chef.
Everyone congratulated Lola, and Mia felt left out, leaving to snark with Abby. Arturo (Jason Canela) warned Abby not to incite Mia’s wrath. She fights dirty.
A sobbing Mia demanded Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) come home and listen as she lamented about not being the center of attention. Rey fell for it and they have sex.
After, Mia told him about working for Nikki. Rey knew exactly what this is about – Nikki wanted Mia to pull Rey off Victor’s (Eric Braeden) trail. Mia pouted that she was just trying to help her husband!
True Love
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) blasted Sharon (Sharon Case) for taking part in terrorizing Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). Sharon pointed out that Tessa is a liar and is likely using the situation to hold onto Mariah.
When Tessa mades frowny faces at Sharon, Sharon noted that if Tessa really loved her daughter, she’d let her go.
Tessa complainsed to Mariah that Sharon kept Tessa from getting a new job. Mariah yelled at Sharon some more.
Deck the Halls!
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kerry (Alice Hunter) decorated the Abbott Christmas tree. Nobody whined about anything – even Kerry standing up Jack for breakfast and sending him mixed signals. They kissed under the mistletoe, instead. This is how you ring in the holidays, Genoa City!
