The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, August 30 features Chloe making a bad decision, then walking into a bad situation. Plus, Phyllis learned about Summer’s betrayal, Victor and Adam yell and pouted, and Abby and Chelsea prepared to open The Grand Pheonix.
Reliving the Past
Remember when Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) faked a suicide, complete with fake funeral, then Victor (Eric Braeden) placed her in the care of a shrink who turned out to be nuts, thought Chloe was his long-lost daughter, and virtually kept her prisoner?
Well, remember it, as Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe whisk an unconscious Billy (Jason Thompson) away from the spot where he tried to run down Adam (Mark Grossman), and crashed his car.
Kevin and Chloe sequestered Billy at a faraway cabin… where Chloe was sure she can fix his mental issues. Being such a healthy specimen, herself, and all.
V is For Vendetta
Adam told Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) he didn’t see who tried to run him off the road… or who pushed him out of the way. Phyllis suggested it was Victor (Eric Braeden). Adam believed her, for some reason.
He stomped over to Victor’s where they proceed to yell and argue over who is the worst person. Later, Adam told Phyllis he plans to use his father’s illness against him.
Change of Management
Phyllis has a bad day when she learns Summer (Hunter King) was still working to help Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) promote The Grand Phoenix.
Chelsea had a bad day when she realized Chloe was alive, and blamed her for all the pain Chelsea and Connor went through, losing Adam, and thinking Chelsea drove Chloe to suicide. Chloe misses her friend and wants to make amends, but Chelsea wasn’t having it.
