The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, July 30 features Victor making a decision about his health, Chelsea making a decision about her future, Kyle making a decision about his and Lola’s wedding, and Billy unable to make any decisions at all.
Pump Up the Dosage
Nate (Sean Dominic) told Victor (Eric Braeden) that his mysterious disease was responding to treatment and suggested upping the dosage…which also means upping the side-effects. Victor decided to do it, and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) supported him, telling Victoria (Amelia Heinle) she’s not worried. She’s worried.
Later, Nate brought Abby (Melissa Ordway) the good news, and they had sex. This seems to be working out for them.
We’re In the Money
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) acted reluctant to accept the money Calvin left her and Connor in his will, but then graciously accepted it and signed the papers Calvin’s lawyer brought. Nick (Joshua Morrow) wondered what she’d do next. Chelsea hugged him and smiled.
Daytime Confidential
Lola (Sasha Calle) was bummed that Celeste (Eva LaRue) left town and won’t be at Lola and Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) wedding. Kyle secretly called his future mother-in-law and tried to convince her to be there. Later, he squirmed a little as Lola complimented him on his honesty. He promised Lola the wedding of her dreams.
Sleep It Off
Billy (Jason Thompson) was supposed to be watching Johnny, Katie, and Christian, but he took some of Victoria’s sleeping pills and wakes up in the Chancellor mansion, seeing that the word “Adam” on the wall now has a “Stop” written right above it.
Victoria was unhappy that he left the kids, but when Billy broke down and confessed that he feels like he’s losing it, she promised to stand by him and help him. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
