The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, November 2 is the day after Halloween. Phyllis has news for Lauren, Billy, and Kyle, Rey has suspicions (and a potential lawsuit), and Nikki, Victoria, Phyllis, and Sharon have a very, very big problem!
Habeas Corpus
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), and Sharon (Sharon Case) managed to all snark and dig as they hunkered down in Chancellor Park and drilled towards the spot where they buried JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) body.
Except, oops. It’s not there.
Phyllis is sure JT is still alive, and he’s the one who’s been blackmailing them.
Title 9
The women reconvene the next morning at the coffee house to discuss their situation (Why not, say, Nikki’s house, where they can find a private room and not be overheard?)
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) casually saunters over and enthuses about how much he loves charity work. Can he play, too? Nope, Nikki dismisses. Their charity is all about women helping women and, sorry, Rey doesn’t meet their criteria. He gallantly leaves… perhaps to file a discrimination lawsuit?
Girl Power
Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Billy (Jason Thompson) both volunteer to be Phyllis’s new COO. She thanks them for their enthusiasm, but explains that she’s already hired Lauren (Tracey Bregman) to do the job.
Phyllis, Lauren, and new hire chemistry champ Kerry have a pow-wow about how they’re going to stop Jabot from going under now that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will be manufacturing all of their best-selling Jabot products for her new company.
Phyllis puts out her ideas and announces that they’ll definitely be major hits. Lauren and Kerry happily yes-(wo)men her.
Meanwhile, Kyle and Billy agree to work together to keep an eye on Phyllis, though Billy warns Kyle there will be no dirty tricks. Oh, no, of course not.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
