The Young and the Restless Recap: Billy Is OUT As CEO!

The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, October 2 features Nick preparing for his wedding and assuring Christian and Faith of how happy their new family will be, just as Mariah decided to tell Sharon about Nick and Phyllis.

Meanwhile, Phyllis was the only one standing by Billy as the Jabot board votes in a new CEO.

The Buck Stops Here
Billy (Jason Thompson) pointed out to the Jabot board that only he or Traci (Beth Maitland) can be in charge, and his sister is supporting him.

Not so fast, Billy! Hearing that he stole money from Jabot changed Traci’s mind, and she agreed to be the new CEO.

Billy stomped out in a huff and Kyle (Michael Mealor) gloated. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) accused him of having ice water in his veins. But, a few minutes later, she was on Traci, trying to get her to sign some vital papers.

Traci was in no hurry. She’ll be making her own decisions, thank you very much. Ashley shouldn’t be buying new office furniture quite yet…

Rahab Redux
Jack (Peter Bergman) was still willing to pay Billy’s debts, as long as he goes to rehab. Phyllis backed up Jack, and Billy worried that his girlfriend is getting close to her ex-husband again. Phyllis told him she’ll miss him while he’s away, which Billy took as a pretty good reason not to go.

Wedding Day Blues
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) questioned Nick (Joshua Morrow) about unfinished business with any women from his past. Nick can’t think of any.

Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) was nervous about Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick’s wedding. They’ve screwed this up SO MANY times before. Concerned for her little sister, Mariah made a decision. She told Sharon that Nick and Phyllis slept together. No, not the first time he cheated on Sharon. Like… recently.
