The Young and the Restless Recap: Why Is Ashley Paying Off a DNA Tech?

The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, October 10 features the question of why Ashley would need to pay a “consulting” fee to the head of Genoa City’s DNA lab.

Plus, Sharon shared dinner – and more – with Rey, Summer tried to needle Kyle, and more mysterious notes popped up.

Andrew continued to try and shake down Ashley (Eileen Davidson), but she cut him loose. Andrew next went to Kyle (Michael Mealor) and cryptically warned him to get Ashley to reconsider… or it could be very bad for Jabot.

Later, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) recognized Andrew as a DNA tech. Phyllis knew Andrew back in the day… like maybe when she was faking Daniel’s paternity results?

Now, why would Ashley need help with DNA results? It couldn’t have anything to do with Jack (Peter Bergman), could it?

Whip It Good!
Summer (Hunter King) assured Nick (Joshua Morrow) she wasn’t the one who told Sharon (Sharon Case) about Nick and Phyllis… but did urge him to try and make it work with her mom again.

Nick only wanted Sharon, though. He tracked her down to Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso), where Rey and Sharon are having dinner… with Lola (Sasha Calle). Said dinner turns into a whipped cream fight. Nick was unamused. Sharon was indifferent.

Triple Play
Summer needled Lola about being a gold-digger, then told Kyle that Billy (Jason Thompson) was the best sex Summer ever had. Kyle wondered where Billy is now.

Red Letter Day
Phyllis got a threatening note like Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and accused Sharon of sending it. Sharon pointed out she’d be much more direct if she wanted to frighten Phyllis. Later, Sharon got a note of her own. So now it’s unanimous!
