The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, March 28 features bad news for Cane, and good news for Tessa.

Plus, Abby refused Arturo’s pleas, and Reed listened to his father but refused to hear his mother.

Splitting Up
Cane (Daniel Goddard) received divorce papers from Lily (Christel Khalil), but wouldn’t confess to Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Garry) exactly why their mom is so upset.

Charlie wondered if maybe it’s for the best- their family won’t be the same ever again. Cane ripped up the divorce papers. Guess he didn’t agree.

Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) yelled at Victoria (Amelia Heinle) for keeping him the dark about his dad, yet was much more understanding when JT (Thad Luckinbill) apologized for everything he’d done — and blamed his handy-dandy tumor.

Cops came to arrest him for trying to kill Victor (Eric Braeden) and Reed flipped out — at Victoria. Hey, does he have a tumor, too? Or is he just being a teenager? Hard to tell sometimes. Reed refused to go home with Victoria, who later threw a tantrum of her own and started breaking things.

Not Enough Flowers In the World
Arturo (Jason Canela) tried to say it with flowers. Meaning says to Abby (Melissa Ordway) for that whole, inexplicable sleeping with Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) thing.

Abby wasn’t buying. She also told she filled in Nick (Joshua Morrow), and Arturo was fired. That seemed…vaguely illegal. Arturo should get a lawyer and sue for wrongful termination.

Going Straight
Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) told Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) that Christine (Lauralee Bell) dropped the charges against her. Tessa and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) squealed and celebrated. Tessa said she was going to be a good person from that moment forward.

They asked Abby about when her restaurant will open, and Abby snapped that she wouldn’t be a pushover from this moment forward. So…everybody has a plan!

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
