The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, August 20 features Sharon surprised by Adam, Lauren suspicious of Michael, and Adrian making himself at home in Genoa City.
Marry Me Monday (Tuesday Is Good, Too)
First, Adam (Mark Grossman) couldn’t remember anything about his old life and didn’t even want to return to his former hometown. Victor (Eric Braeden) forced him to. Then, Adam was determined to win custody of Christian. That’s on hold now.
Adam claimed he also wanted to reunite with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor (Judah McCay). Connor was happy to see his daddy, but Chelsea wanted nothing to do with her ex.
Finally, Adam slept with Sharon (Sharon Case). Because — why not? Now he’s just asked her to marry him. For the same reason? Or is providing a stable home in the eyes of the judge for Conner and Christian the real reason behind Adam’s out of the blue proposal?
The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothing But the Truth
It was Special Election Day in GC and Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) was running for District Attorney. But Lauren (Tracey Bregman) was suspicious. She thought Adam is behind Michael’s career move, and that it all tied into Kevin (Greg Rikaart). Michael pretty much confirmed her suspicions.
Daddy’s Home
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) wasn’t pleased to see Adrian at Sharon’s Crimson Lights and he was even more unhappy to hear that Dear Old Dad was unemployed — he must be sniffing around Lola’s (Sasha Calle) money now that she’s married to an Abbott. Celeste (Eva LaRue) talked Rey down.
Meanwhile, on their honeymoon, Lola and Kyle (Michael Mealor) acted the same way they do when they’re in town. They had sex and told each other how great they are. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
