The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, September 3, 2019, features hell freezing over, as Jack and Victor shared a friendly drink that led to Jack making a life-changing decision. Plus, Zoe had a proposal for Phyllis, and Sharon held her ground… until she didn’t.
Drinking Buddies
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Victor (Eric Braeden) shared a drink and talked fathers, sons, and the mistakes they’ve made. Victor and Jack agreed that things were going well with their respective families, though Jack admitted he’s still feeling a lack in his life. Victor said that when he felt that way, he took off.
Jack calls Kyle (Michael Mealor) — who was quietly freaking out about Lola (Sasha Calle) having taken a selfie with Zoe — and offered him the chance to be interim CEO of Jabot. Jack then took off with the ghost of John in his backseat — literally. Hmmm… wonder how Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will feel about the reins being handed to Kyle instead of her?
Sabotage!
Zoe approached Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and suggested they work together to mess up The Grand Pheonix’s grand opening. Phyllis will get her revenge, and Zoe will get a bitchin’ behinds-the-scenes story to go viral. Phyllis scoffed that little Zoe is out of her league.
Phyllis then went to Adam to scheme with the big boys, but he was too bummed over giving up Christian. Phyllis and Adam then battled it out for who had the worst childhood and who has the worst luck. She told him he’d won the “poor me” contest of the day.
Fleeing the Scene
Jack is quite the trend-setter. After reminding Adam (Mark Grossman) that, no, she still didn’t want to marry him, and telling Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) no, thank you, she didn’t need him to arrest Adam, Sharon decided to follow his lead and leave town for a while.
Tell Me a Story
Devon (Bryton James) told Elena (Brytni Sarpy) about Katherine. They wondered what was going on with her will. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
