The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, May 23 features one revelation after another, as Adam had a deal for Nick and Victoria, Mariah met her stalker and Tessa saw the light. Plus, Rey and Kyle embarked on new living arrangements.
Adam (politely) blew off Sharon (Sharon Case) and called Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) over. Adam (Mark Grossman) said Victor (Eric Braeden) was desperate to have his son back at Newman Enterprises.
Except Adam wasn’t interested. If Victoria and Nick gave him half a billion dollars, the location where Chelsea and Connor are hiding out, and custody of Christian, he’ll disappear for good.
Nick was furious, but Adam argued it will be better for Christian to be away from Victor. Later, Nick admitted to Victoria that Chelsea had been in touch, but he didn’t want to rat her out. He did see that Adam being gone would be great for Victoria professionally. Once alone, Nick calls Adam.
Authentic Self
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) met her stalker and took his picture to give to the police in case he got violent. Meanwhile, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) didn’t like how Ana (Loren Lott) was auto-tuning her music and changing her look. Ana said it’s my way or the highway. Tessa said, oh, yeah, then you can’t fire me, I quit. Ana noted to Mariah that she’d gotten her way.
Moving Day
Rey (Jordi Vilsuso) moved in with Sharon. He gave Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) a classic book, and then he and Sharon made out.
Kyle (Michael Mealor) moves in with Lola (Sasha Calle). She burnt their dinner, then they made out.
