The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, August 14 features big moves as Adam threatened Victor, Jack and Ashley contemplated a change, and Nate made Elena an offer.
Daddy Issues
Adam (Mark Grossman) was furious to be served with a restraining order to prevent him from seeing Christian. He barked at Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) to fix it.
Devon (Bryton James) told Adam a story about his adoptive dad, Neil (Kristoff St. John) and his biological dad, Tucker (Stephan Nichols). Adam managed to completely miss the point but it does make him realize that Nick (Joshua Morrow) doesn’t have the power to force through a court order. It had to have been Victor (Eric Braeden).
Victor admitted it was him and said he’s on Christian’s side. Adam is a bad man. Adam countered he might have been a better man if Victor hadn’t left him to be raised by someone else. (Though, for the record, Cliff was a much better human being than Victor could ever hope to be.)
Adam vowed to get back his sons and destroy Victor in the process. Silly, Adam, no one is allowed to beat Victor…

Name Game
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) discussed merging their two companies and changing Jabot’s name to reflect that. Kyle (Michael Mealor) made a speech about what a great family company it is, and they decided to keep the original name.
Then, Jack was off to Florida to convince Celeste (Eva LaRue) to come to Kyle and Lola’s (Sasha Calle) wedding!
Slow Your Roll
Nate (Sean Dominic) told Elena (Brytni Sarpy) about a residency opening up at the hospital, and she decided to apply. Yay, Elena is a doctor, again!
Next, he went to see Abby (Melissa Ordway). She apologized for the mixed signals. They decided to take it one day at a time. Yay, nothing has changed! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
