The Young and the Restless Recap: Adam Held Victor’s Life In His Hands

The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, September 4, 2019, features Victor warning his family about Adam just as Adam and Phyllis teamed up to learn his biggest secret. Plus, Kyle felt out Summer.

Hit List
Abby (Melissa Ordway) wondered what Adam (Mark Grossman) meant when he reassured that she wasn’t on his hit list. Victor (Eric Braeden) said his prodigal son is out to get the rest of them.

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) confessed that Billy (Jason Thompson) knew Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was alive and how he was being tortured by memories of Delia. Victoria worried he wasn’t in rehab like he claims. Victor then floated his theory that Chloe was the one who shot Adam.

Hit and Run
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) accused him of the same thing and Adam cops to it. Now that they were exchanging confidences, Adam handed Phyllis the tablet he stole from Nate (Sean Dominic) and asked her to hack into Victor’s medical records. Phyllis wanted to know what was in it for her. Adam offered a partnership. Plus, it’ll be fun.

Phyllis worked her magic, while Nate proved to not be a complete idiot in that he told Abby he suspected Adam took it. However, he was a complete idiot for keeping confidential files on a tablet he leaves lying around public places.

Hit Boss
Kyle (Michael Mealor) got Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Traci’s (Beth Maitland) blessing for his temporary CEO-ship of Jabot. He asked Summer (Hunter King) how she felt about him being her boss? Summer turned it around and asked Kyle how Lola (Sasha Calle) feels about it. Kyle said Lola is cool. So Summer was cool, too.

They brainstormed and soon were cooking with gas. Summer even blew off Theo (Tyler Johnson) to keep working. Kyle relished his time in the big chair. The only thing he didn’t do is spin around and say, “Wheeeeee!” The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
