The Young and the Restless Recap: Is Adam Faking His Amnesia?

The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, May 14 features Adam Genoa City homecoming as he faced a barrage of questions. Plus, Summer outed her mom to Jack, as Kyle continued acting like a total jerk to her.

Hi, Honey, I’m Home
Adam (Mark Grossman) returned and told Sharon (Sharon Case) he didn’t remember a thing and felt like she’s the only one he can trust.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) accused his brother of pulling a scam and lying about his amnesia. Adam wondered what his objective was. Nick told Sharon if Adam wanted Christian, he would have to go through Nick, first.

Adam asked Victor (Eric Braeden) what he wanted from him, and Victor suggested they could go back into business together.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) defended Victor lying about Adam to Nick and Victoria (Amelia Heinle), but the siblings remained wary.

Later, when he was alone, Adam hid a bag full of money and made a mysterious phone call reporting that everything is going according to plan. What was that about an objective?

Moving Ahead
Lauren (Tracey Bregman) couldn’t believe Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) went to Ashley (Eileen Davidson) so they could team up against Jabot. Lauren advised her friend to make a new life for herself without obsessing over the Abbotts.

Kiss and Tell
Kyle (Michael Mealor) teased a hung-over Summer (Hunter King). Did it ever cross his mind that Summer can’t hold her liquor now because she donated a part of her liver to his girlfriend?

When Summer wanted to adjust some Jabot designs, Kyle accused her of doing it to stay close to him. Self-centered much? Kyle ran off to frolic with Lola (Sasha Calle).

Summer told Jack (Peter Bergman) that Phyllis tried to steal Jabot designs. Jack thanked Summer for her loyalty, then texted a warning to Phyllis. He was putting her on notice.
