The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, May 21 features the Newman clan, as Adam regained his memory… along with his need to manipulate, while Nick, Victoria, and Abby weren’t thrilled to have their brother back, no matter how many times Victor insisted they should be. Plus, Lauren tried to set up Jack… then kissed him.
Secrets Inside Secrets Inside Lies
Adam (Mark Grossman) woke up and announced he remembered everything… including his family. Victor (Eric Braeden) was eager to get his boy back into the boardroom.
Paul (Doug Davidson) came to question Adam about the shooting. Adam claimed he didn’t know who did it, but he was sure it was someone connected to his gambling life in Las Vegas.
Adam asked Sharon (Sharon Case) to bring him his phone and made a call, claiming he knew who shot him, but he needed a fall guy to blame it on. Is there an app for that?
Love Heals
Victor informed Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nick (Joshua Morrow), and Abby (Melissa Ordway) about Adam’s breakthrough. They found it a bit convenient… and suspicious.
Victor chastised them and commanded them to love their brother. When Nikki dared suggest Victor was being insensitive, Victor dismissed that the rest were just jealous and refused to listen to their concerns about rushing things. They will all be one, big happy family now! Meanwhile, Nick went home to spend time with his son.
Date Night
Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) set up Jack (Peter Bergman) with a marketing executive from Chicago, but Jack swore he’s too busy for romance.
Lauren urged him to get out there and kissed Jack on the cheek, which got him thinking. Lauren and Michael then decided to go out on the town to flaunt their happy marriage.
