The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, May 6 features the reveal fans had been suspecting for weeks — Adam is alive! Victor filled in Sharon, who consulted with Nick and Rey. Plus, Jett let slip a secret about Elena, and Tessa froze up in the studio.
Victor (Eric Braeden) told Sharon (Sharon Case) that Adam was alive, but he has no memory of anything that happened before the explosion that “killed” him — except how to play high-stakes poker.
Victor wanted Sharon to reach out to his son and bring him home. Sharon was nervous about blowing up her life.
She called Nick (Joshua Morrow), who thought it was a con and warned Sharon about letting Adam get into her head. They both worried about what this means for Christian.
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) also wasn’t thrilled about the development but vowed to support Sharon. She called Victor to say she was in. Sharon would help bring Victor’s son home.
Loose Lips Fresh Voices
Jett told Devon that Elena’s (Brytni Sarpy) mom died at home while Elena was working at the hospital, and she can’t forgive herself.
Elena was furious that Devon pumped her uncle for details. Devon apologized. Then, he walked away before Elena has a chance to say whether or not she accepted. That seems a bit rude.
Meanwhile, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) completely choked during her recording session with Ana (Loren Lott), and Ana cut the session short.
Tessa whined to Mariah (Camryn Grimes), who was freaking out about her threatening text and went off on a customer.
Ana told Devon about her aborted session, and Devon subtly suggested it was all her fault for being a bad producer – though we’re sure he thought he was just being supportive. Devon brought Tessa back into the studio and, this time, everything went great.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
