The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, August 1 features Tessa and Mariah celebrating their success, Abby pushing Nate away, and Sharon dealing with her support of Adam on every front — from Mariah, Lola, and Nick.
You’re Either With Us Or You’re Against Us
Sharon (Sharon Case) admitted to Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) left her over Sharon’s support of Adam. Mariah, from her wealth of life experience, gave Sharon love advice.
Lola (Sasha Calle) also let Sharon know that she is displeased about the breakup and, finally, Nick (Joshua Morrow) told Sharon she has to choose — Adam (Mark Grossman)… or all right-thinking people everywhere.
(The woman agreed to watch Christian when Adam asked, she hadn’t pledged her trough to him. Lighten up, everyone.)
Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Nate (Sean Dominic) were having a good time when he dared makes plans for the future. Abby quickly reminded him they’re just hooking up, nothing serious.
Nate headed over to Devon’s (Bryton James), where he’s just finished making plans with Nick to restart the affordable house development Nick completely forgot once he decided to make a point of competing with Victor (Eric Braeden).
Elena (Brytni Sarpy) was there, upset about having lost a patient. Nate gave her a pep talk. Now, everyone who has ever watched a soap ever knows where this is going next.
Mariah told Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) they’re celebrating — her video had gotten over a million likes! (Had it moved product, though? Likes don’t count for anything if they don’t sell music.)
Chronically unable to be happy, Tessa whined that she doesn’t know what her next song should be about. Mariah urged her to let it come from a place of love. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
