Except for her inadvertent drug-taking during The Grand Phoenix opening, Summer has given every indication of getting over Kyle and moving on with Theo on The Young and the Restless.
Sure, she kissed Kyle (Michael Mealor)… but that was the molly talking. Summer (Hunter King) and Theo (Tyler Johnson) had sex in the Jabot elevator. That makes them a bonafide couple!
Summer may think the decision is up to her. But we all know it’s the fans who have the final say. What almost 8,000 want to see for Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford) little girl… gone wild:
She’s not over him, 67% of you believe the lady doth protest too much. Summer let Kyle go because he was in love with Lola (Sasha Calle)… and she had too much pride to pant over a man who clearly didn’t want her. (Her mother might want to take a lesson.)
But that doesn’t mean Summer doesn’t love Kyle anymore. Their chemistry is obvious whenever they’re together. They like to pretend it’s just workflow, but we know better than that. They make a good team. Summer is even keeping Kyle’s secrets for him. It’s only a matter of time before it affects all other areas of their life.
You know what’s nice about Theo? He’s not related to anyone else Summer has already slept with, 33% of The Young and the Restless fans would like to point out. Also not related to anyone her other has slept with… that we know of for now.
In other words, there’s no history there. Theo and Summer can start fresh. And there’s a lot to be said for that. Summer and Theo are light, fun, and he’s not dating her solely for her liver. Let’s give this pairing a try!
