The Young and the Restless Recap: Nikki Was Napping On The Job

The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, January 31 features ending the month on a kinky note as Kyle and Fen went head to head – while shirtless, Phyllis fretted about lying to Summer, Victoria gave Billy a definitive answer, and Nikki misplaced Katie.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) babysat Katie and sent the child off to play while Nikki continued freaking out. She told Nick (Joshua Morrow) she wanted to confess in order to spare Victor (Eric Braeden) having to testify, but Nick begged her to trust the legal system.

Nikki fell asleep and woke to the sound of glass breaking, so she called for Katie. Who wants to bet that, if the child is missing, Nikki will be blamed for napping on the job, while Victor repeatedly losing track of Katie while she chats with her ‘imaginary’ friend will be overlooked?

End Of the Road
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) wasn’t happy to see Billy (Jason Thompson) at the house, and was even less thrilled to hear that it was Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) who encouraged Billy to fight for Victoria. She told Billy they’re done for good.

Meanwhile, Nick assured Summer (Hunter King) that he’ll clear Victor’s name. Phyllis battled guilt over lying to Summer, even as her daughter teased her parents about both being on the rebound. (Doesn’t Summer know that’s how she came to be in the first place?)

Hot Bods
Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) photo shoot models were stuck in New York, so Lauren (Tracey Bregman) volunteered Fen (Zach Tinker), who just finished getting chewed out by Ana (Loren Lott) for caring more about being a star than a singer.

Kyle decided to get into the act, too, and the pair stripped to the waist and strutted about in a manly fashion. Kyle questioned Summer about her date with Fen, and she wondered if he’s jealous.
