Nick’s Choice: Chelsea or Faith on The Young and the Restless

She is definitely one of The Young and the Restless, even though she’s still a tween. We’re talking about Faith, who, last year, got the adults in her life to fawn all over her by running away from home, then announcing she preferred to live with Grandpa Victor (Eric Braeden) and Grandma Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) over mom Sharon or dad Nick.

Now, Faith is putting her foot down yet again, this time about Nick dating Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). She deliberately broke up their date by calling Nick and claiming there was an emergency with Nikki. Nikki called Faith on it, but now Chelsea is worried that she and Nick can’t have a relationship if his daughter is against it.

Sure, Faith apologized and seems to be on board, chances are she is just regrouping. There will be a time when Nick will probably have to choose. So which of the women in his life should Nick prioritize? Over 4,000 viewers made like Supernanny.

Hold Your Ground
Children should be seen and not heard. And they certainly shouldn’t be dictating their parents’ love lives. That’s why 60% of you voted for Nick (Joshua Morrow) to lay down some ground rules with Faith — let’s start with no lying about unconscious grandmas, especially when she’s a recovering alcoholic — and keep seeing Chelsea.

Three’s Company
Maybe Faith isn’t against Nick seeing Chelsea. Maybe she just feels left out. After all, her beloved stepfather, Dylan (Steve Burton), just left Sharon (Sharon Case). Maybe she’s just afraid of getting hurt again. If that’s the case, 30% of viewers recommend Nick and Chelsea include Faith more in their activities. It might ease her mind about Nick abandoning her for a new family.

Kids First
This thing with Chelsea may or may not work out (remember, she knows the truth about Christian), but Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will be Nick’s daughter forever. Family should come first, and 10% of you want Nick to take Faith’s side and cool off on the Chelsea front.
