Payback is a bill of bad health for “The Young and the Restless'” Hilary Hamilton Winters, played by Mishael Morgan.
The karma gods come calling for Hilary (Mishael Morgan) when she faints at The Genoa City Athletic Club. To make matters worse, she passes out in front of three people she has a lot to lose with–Jack (Peter Bergman), Cane (Daniel Goddard), and Lily (Christel Khalil)!
“Hilary is trying to be positive and believe the best,” Morgan said in the most recent issue of Soaps In Depth.
Lily, who has made no secret of her distrust and dislike of Hilary since Cane informed her Hilary was blackmailing Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Devon (Bryton James), accuses her enemy of faking this relapse. She’s furious and thinks Hilary just wants Jack to feel sorry for her.
Lily’s accusations anger Hilary, but she still avoids having a checkup with Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight).
“I think the idea of slowing down and not being able to pursue everything she’s set out to do is as terrifying to her as dying,” Morgan said. “But I also think she’s poured a lot of time and energy into Dr. Neville’s drug trial, and if there is something wrong with her, there is a huge possibility it could cause the trial to end.”
She added that Hilary also hesitates to address her potential health issues because she worries if word gets out that she’s ill, her competitors in Genoa City’s business and social scenes will use it against her. Hilary behaved horribly toward Ashley, so no wonder she has these fears!
Let’s hope Hilary gets the help she needs and turns over a new leaf soon.
