Lauren’s son, Scotty, is back in town on The Young and the Restless and exploring life in Genoa City.

To date, Scotty caught up with old friends, like Kevin (Greg Rikaart), and made some new ones like Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Sharon (Sharon Case). Plus, he’s been spending time with Victor, the man he’ll forever be indebted to for paying his ransom and saving his life.

In fact, the two men are about to collaborate on a book about Victor’s (Eric Braeden) life. Soap Hub asked fans of The Young and the Restless how you’ve been enjoying Scotty’s return to the canvas and storyline, so far. Over 6,500 weighed in on the subject.

What Storyline?
Some 54% of you are a tad perplexed by the question. Namely, because you’re not sure that Scotty (Daniel Hall) actually has a storyline quite yet. Since he resurfaced in Genoa City, he’s been wandering around aimlessly; kicking back at Crimson Lights during the day and chilling at Underground at night.

He’s got no job, no love interest, no anything. You’re hoping that things pick up soon, because the guy’s too handsome and talented to continue to be wasted like this.

Good Book Drama Is Coming
Some 25% of you have enjoyed Scotty’s slow steady reintroduction to GC; particularly, his one-on-one scenes with Victor. You like the building rapport between the two men and think they have an intriguing relationship.

Now that Victor wants Scotty to write his memoirs, you think there’s some good book drama coming. Scotty’s sure to uncover things in Victor’s past that the tycoon may end up wishing were never drudged up. It’s bound to cause friction between them.

Take It or Leave It
The final 21% of you find Scotty’s current storyline a bit ho-hum and can either take it or leave it. What you find particularly odd is that it started out as on-the-edge-of-your-seat drama, when he was being held hostage. However, since the character was rescued and returned home, it’s been a major snooze fest.
