How Will Hilary React To Mariah and Devon on The Young and Restless?

They may be The Young and the Restless, but they’re not a couple — yet.

We’re talking about Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Devon. They’ve been friends for a while now, but Devon was too busy getting led around by the nose by Hilary to pay Mariah much mind.

Now both are single and spending more time together. Could anything be blooming there? And if there is, how will Hilary (Mishael Morgan) react?

Digging Through the Ruins
While it wasn’t exactly unanimous, it was close enough — 91% of you expect Hilary to do everything in her power to ruin it for Devon (Bryton James) and Mariah. Just because she no longer wants Devon — and that’s not a done deal at this point, either — doesn’t mean Hilary wants anyone else to have him. Especially Mariah.

Heck, Hilary didn’t even want Mariah getting a share of the attention Hilary believed was rightfully hers. Imagine how she’ll feel about Mariah getting a crack at Devon’s money! (Hilary believes it’s rightfully hers, too.)

Living Well Is the Best Revenge
Why the heck should Hilary care about Devon and Mariah, wonder 5% of viewers, when she is totally and completely over him? And she has that hunky Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) after her. As for Mariah, now that Hilary has what she wants at GC Buzz, the snarky redhead is barely on Hilary’s radar. Mariah and Devon are children. Hilary is an adult. And she ain’t playing.

Happiness Is a Warm Puppy
And then there are the perpetual optimists, the tiny 2% of the audience who honestly think Hilary will be happy for Mariah and Devon. After all, if she has to work with both, it’s better to have them in a good mood — and not focused on her. Could Hilary end up surprising everyone?
