Do You Want Gloria to Steal Jabot from Jack?

Gloria has blackmailed Jack into giving her a job at Jabot on The Young and the Restless.

After the pair got drunk and ended up in bed together, Gloria decided to use what happened to her full advantage.

Furious that Jack didn’t give her a job at Fenmore’s after she made sure he acquired the company from Lauren (Tracey Bregman), Gloria decided to play hardball. Namely, accuse him of sexual harassment.

Jack had no choice but to give in to Glo’s demands and brought her aboard Jabot. Now that Gloria’s back inside the company she loves, do you want to see her take things a step further and steal it from Jack? Here’s what fans of The Young and the Restless had to say on the subject.

No! It Doesn’t Belong to Her
A whopping 77% of Y&R fans responded to this poll with a resounding, “No!” Jabot is Jack and Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) birthright.

The company belongs to them, not Gloria. She’s lucky she got her foot back in the door as Jack’s secretary and should be content with that position. Anything else is a pipe dream.

Maybe, It Would Be Interesting
Some 18% of you find the idea of Gloria (Judith Chapman) at the helm of Jabot interesting, but you’re not necessarily sold on it. While it would be fun to see her running the show and ordering Jack around, you can’t quite wrap your head around Gloria being Ashley’s boss. So that would be a major stumbling block.

Yes, She Deserves It
Whether they had a deal in writing or not, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Gloria did have an understanding about Fenmore’s acquisition. However, once Jack got what he wanted, he simply wrote Gloria off.

The move was cold and callus. Gloria was justified to force Jack’s hand to give her a job. Now that she’s back at Jabot, 5% of you would love to see her take over the company. She deserves it…. and so does Jack.
