Furious with Jack for not hiring her to work at Fenmore’s now that it’s part of Jabot, Gloria decided to get even on The Young and the Restless.
She headed to GC Buzz and offered them a sizzling interview about sexual harassment and intimidation by one of Genoa City’s biggest companies: Jabot.
Under an assumed name, Gloria told Mariah (Camryn Grimes) how she granted “favors” to a prominent businessman, because she desperately needed a job. Then, he simply dismissed her.
And Gloria revealed that the man was Jack Abbott. Is this a top moment in Gloria’s “Gone Too Far” playbook? Fans of The Young and the Restless spoke out.
Yes, It’s A Big Fat Lie
Nothing was set in stone between Gloria and Jack (Peter Bergman). She just assumed that Jack would reward her for helping him acquire Fenmore’s under the Jabot umbrella.

He never actually said he would do it. Hence, 86% of you believe she’s gone too far suing Jack; particularly for sexual harassment. It’s a big fat lie, and she should be ashamed of herself. Then again, you realize that Gloria (Judith Chapman) has no shame.
No, She Was Wronged
On the other hand, 14% of you feel Gloria’s actions toward Jack are completely justified. They had an unspoken agreement that she would help steer Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Fenmore’s to Jack and Jabot in exchange for a small reward: a job at the fashion company.
Gloria delivered. But how did Jack repay her? He simply turned his back on her, saying he didn’t acquire a majority share of Fenmore’s and couldn’t land her a gig. It’s not fair!
