News of Adam’s death on The Young and the Restless barely hit Genoa City before people started placing blame on each other. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) pointed to Victor (Eric Braeden), and Nick (Joshua Morrow) rushed to judgement against his father too. Victor immediately believed Chloe has something to do with it.
Of course, without a body, anything is possible in daytime! Soap Hub asked if you believe that Adam faked his own death.
Adam Is Still Alive!
Nearly 9,000 of you voted, and 59% of you believe that Adam faked his own death to escape the rapidly closing in police. He didn’t want to further endanger Chelsea and Connor’s lives, so he ended up faking his demise with the dramatic explosion.
After Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) left, you think that the effects of her nasty poison dart wore off, and he managed to drag himself out of the cabin before causing the fiery inferno. The explosion allowed him to ensure Connor and Chelsea’s safety from a dangerous police showdown while also keeping himself out of prison. After all, in prison there was the inescapable madness as the walls closed in on him.
Chloe Killed Adam
Still, 32% of you believe that Chloe killed Adam (Justin Hartley) or hid him away for future torture. You know she never forgave him for Delia’s death. Ultimately, you believe her unhealthy obsession with making him pay for it led Chloe to do the unimaginable — murder her best friend’s husband.

If he didn’t die in the explosion, then you believe she removed him from the cabin and used the explosion to make it look like he died. She did this so she could draw out his torture.
