On The Young and the Restless, the disaster with Adam (Justin Hartley) has made Victor (Eric Braeden) seriously rethink how he does things because of how horribly wrong things turned out. Victor almost lost his son due to his selfish meddling.
While The Mustache certainly remains set in his ways, this turmoil with his son seems like it could cause him to start fresh on a brand new path. Soap Hub asked if you think Victor will change for the better because of how wrong things went with framing Adam.
Power Corrupts
Out of nearly 5,000 votes, 60% of you don’t see Victor changing. You know power corrupts, and Victor is without a doubt fully addicted to that particular drug. He’s one of Genoa City’s more powerful residents, and even though he truly messed up with Adam this time, there’s no way he’ll change.
You know that soon something else will come along, and Victor won’t be able to resist the lure of playing God. Power ultimately corrupts, and he won’t change — he can’t change.

Still, 32% of you feel hopeful that Victor can change. You think that Victor softens as he ages. He truly feels remorse about messing things up so badly with Adam, and you think this is a genuine turning point for him. While changing is nearly impossible, you believe that this situation left Victor shaken to the core. You think he’s mellowing as the years go by.

Then, 8% of you aren’t sure exactly how this will ultimately affect Victor. Sure, right now he appears remorseful and ready to make a change. However, you know that the feeling may not last. It’s entirely possible Victor will jump back to his old ways as soon as an opportunity arises.
