Jack is quite possibly the most understanding husband on the planet, but according to breaking “Young and the Restless spoilers” the heartbroken hubby might need to give up.
So Little Hope
Big Red is living at the club and Jack (Peter Bergman) is beside himself. He’s doing the best he can to hold himself together, but is having trouble wrapping his mind around her leaving him. She said this was temporary, but Jack knows their marriage is sliding down a slippery slope.
Jack’s unsure of how to handle the separation. Does he give Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) time and space, or make an effort to reach out? She’s the love of his life and he can feel the distance between them getting wider by the minute.
Holding On
After some soul searching, Jack decides he’s going to fight to save his relationship. He’s preparing to do whatever it takes to make his wife happy. If that means living alone for now, so be it! But, he’s not going to give up on the romance and prove to Phyllis that he’s the man for her.

Letting Go
With a renewed sense of love, Jack knocks on Phyllis’ door and try to work things out. He’s ready to put his heart on the line. Anything to make her happy. Alas, at last minute he changes his mind and walks away. He can’t stand the thought of yet another rejection.
