Max is much sicker than anyone first believed. Breaking “Young and the Restless spoilers” reveal a little boy who may be in a hospital for a very long time.
Operation Unsuccessful?
The last we heard from Mad Max (Jared Breeze), he was having brain surgery to remove a tumor. The doctors hoped getting rid of the tumor could finally make him a happy and healthy boy.
However, things didn’t go as planned. Yes, the tumor was removed, but it only made Max much sicker. He’s now a child ridden with seizures, memory loss, and according to Abby (Melissa Ordway Gaston), they didn’t even think he would make it.
Max’s mind is in pieces and he has no recollection of the horrifying things he did to Abby. Abby sees it as a blessing because no child should ever have to live with what he did, especially when he was sick and not in control of his dangerous urges.

Abby’s already lost her little girl, and now she’s afraid she’s going to lose her stepson. Max is in bad shape, but she can’t imagine letting him go. After everything they’ve been through, she still loves him and wants him in her life.
Can Their Marriage Survive?
Abby’s worries about the distance in her marriage. Stitch’s (Sean Carrigan) life is all about Max, but he’s shutting Abby out and even starting to distance her from the boy.
