The “Young and the Restless Recaps” for May 2-8 highlight an unforgettable week when Genoa City residents were shocked to learn unbelievable deep, dark secrets.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) lashed out at his loved ones as he grieved for Sage. Sharon (Sharon Case) tried to offer comfort to her ex-husband and nearly confessed the truth upon seeing his pain. However, she regained her composure and continued keeping the secret of Sully’s identity.

During Sage’s will reading, Sharon received a precious Newman heirloom for her son and Adam received a letter confirming Sage knew he was Christian’s father. However, Sage asked him to keep their secret.

Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) used Sage’s death to his advantage. While the Newmans were distracted by their grief, he gathered information to take down Victoria (Amelia Heinle). It turned out there isn’t a lot of dirt on the Newman CEO, so he continued using Summer (Hunter King) to get closer to her family.

Jack (Peter Bergman) and Victor (Eric Braeden) faced off at the jailhouse where Jack tried to make peace once and for all. Not surprisingly, Victor wasn’t interested. He informed Jack that his worst enemies are the Abbotts themselves.

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) tried pushing Billy (Jason Thompson) back into Victoria’s armsto no avail. Billy is interested in Phyllis instead. His advances started with a passionate kiss, but ended up with Phyllis running out the door.

Luckily for Billy, he found another woman right on time. Business mogul Fiona may better suit Billy’s needs at the moment.

Mad Max (Jared Breeze) tied to cover his tracks and set a fire at The Athletic Club to burn the footage of him setting the trip wire. Fingerprints and DNA later gave him away and Dylan (Steve Burton) had to break the bad news to Stitch (Sean Carrigan) just as Max ran away.
