Last week’s “Young and the Restless recaps” for May 9-13 highlight a week of shocking confrontations, familial struggle, and cheating hearts.
The Winters clan suffered a major happiness setback when Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) learned Neil (Kristoff St. John) was behind Hilary’s kidnapping (Mishael Morgan). The couple promised Neil they’d keep his secret, despite how much it devastated them.

Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Abby (Melissa Ordway Gaston) were beyond shocked and stunned by his deplorable behavior. In the end, followed the recommendation to have Max committed.
Victor (Eric Braeden) grew closer to Dr. Meredith, and even had a hand a reunion with her father. Their bond deepened as they talked of family and their personal struggles.
Victor had several visitors, including Adam (Justin Hartley) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). With Adam, the Victor did his best to manipulate the situation — with his goal as having Adam take over Newman Enterprises. When that failed, Victor became enraged and threatened his son.
During Chelsea’s visit, Victor shot her down and promptly put her in her place. No matter what her threats were, he showed the upper hand.
The war between the Abbott brothers took a shocking turn when Billy (Jason Thomspon) slept with Phyllis. Their staircase tryst was anything but romantic. It left Phyllis numerous doubts about her decision.
