The Young and the Restless has had its fair share of momma drama in the past (we still remember Sharon and “Sully” and Ashley raising Faith for a while). It wouldn’t be a soap opera if a baby had straightforward parentage, and that’s no different when it comes to Dominic Chancellor.

Abby For The Win
For 65% of you, Abby is Dominic’s only mom, and obviously, she should raise her son. Sure, you know that Chance is presumed dead, and Abby’s struggling to come to terms with the thought that he’ll never return to Genoa City.
It’s all horrible and sad, but we know that in the end, Abby will do what’s right and raise her son well, especially with the help of her family and friends.

Y&R: A Little Help From Her Friend
Of course, Devon is Dominic’s biological father. We know what the contract says — Chance is the baby’s dad, but nobody expected Chance to die. So for 21% of you, Devon is the logical choice to raise Dominic alongside Abby with Chance out of the picture.
Even better? If Abby and Devon end up becoming romantic partners, raising their child together. That would be the bee’s knees.
Young And The Restless: Save the Best for Last
For 14% of you, Mariah is the logical choice to raise Dominic. She bonded with the little boy, whom she calls “Bowie” during her pregnancy, especially after Stitch Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) kidnapped her. She instinctively knows just what the baby needs, and you’d like to see her and her girlfriend, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), get the chance to give him the type of home he deserves.
