Young and the Restless Melissa Ordway’s Baby Shower!

Just days ago, “Young and the Restless” star Melissa Ordway Gaston announced the birth of her baby girl, Olivia Christine.

Y&R fans were delighted to learn about the actress and her husband’s adoption of their first child. The stunning baby picture went viral throughout the soap opera community.

Yesterday, her friends, family, and costars celebrated right along with her new family.

They threw Ordway Gaston a beautiful baby shower organized by her screen mom Eileen Davidson (Ashley).

In attendance were many familiar Y&R faces including Sharon Case (Sharon), Jess Walton (Jill), Lauralee Bell (Christine), Amelia Heinle (Victoria) and Hunter King (Summer) among others. Everyone came together to show Ordway Gaston their love.

“Showered with love when your co-workers become family,” Ordway Gaston wrote on her social media post along with pictures of herself with her loved ones. “Thank you @eileendavisonofficial for the amazing #YR ladies shower!!! What a fun night!!! Love you all!!!”

Melissa married the love of her life, Justin Gaston, in 2012. After four years together, they welcomed Olivia this week and are ready to share their joy and bask in the glow of their life together.

Ordway Gaston joined the cast on Y&R in 2013. In her time on the show, she’s transformed Abby from a rebellious teenager to a responsible adult. Currently, Abby is in the midst of a story line that revolves around an evil stepson. The stepson killed her unborn baby, made her seem crazy, and is doing whatever it takes to cover his tracks.
